Professor Yeona Jang has over 15 years of consulting and management experience in IT as a senior executive in telecommunications, financial services, utility, and IT services industries. Before coming to McGill University in 2008, she worked as Vice President and CIO/Chief Knowledge Officer at Samsung SDS, where she led IT-enabled business initiatives. Prior to that, she held executive positions at Citibank and the energy company PSEG, where she was responsible for product development and technology management. Prof. Jang is a member of the Committee on Future Information Architectures, Processes, and Strategies for the Centers for Medicare and Medi-caid Services, which handles one-third of the patient population in the U.S.
