A graduate in communications and public relations from the University of Montreal, Magalie Dumas was drawn to the fields of community and social intervention and has developed knowledge in the field to guide her professional practice. For over fifteen years, she has undertaken a great variety of projects in social housing, homelessness, sustainable development and social economy. She was, among other things, the Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society of Lanaudière for four years, which led to a sustained concern for the role of caregivers. Since its creation 6 years ago, L’Appui has been dedicated to improving caregivers’ quality of life.
