John R. Keyserlingk, FRCS, FACS, is a surgical oncologist and Medical Director of the Ville Marie Medical and Women’s Health Center, which also includes the Marie Multidisciplinary Breast Center and the Marie Oncology Center. He is  an Assistant Professor of Surgery at McGill University and a member of the Department of Surgery at the Université de Montréal. He is a staff surgeon in the Divisions of General Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Otolaryngology at St. Mary’s Hospital, the Department of Surgery at the Sacré Coeur Hospital, the Division of General Surgery at the Montreal General Hospital and the Department of Otolaryngology at the Royal Victoria Hospital. In 1994, Dr. Keyserlingk established the Marie Multidisciplinary Breast Center in Montreal. He based the concept of this new Center on the need for immediate on-site expert multi-disciplinary medical staff to promote early breast cancer detection.
