Johan Hjertqvist, LLD, has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Stockholm. In the mid-1980’s, he belonged to a small group of entrepreneurs starting the first private Swedish venture capital market. Starting in 1999, he led a four-year-project analyzing the transformation of health care in the Stockholm region. Mr. Hjertqvist has played an active role in the transition of internal market ideas in a number of countries, including the UK, Norway and Canada.
