
Co-lead, Patient Partnership Project, McGill University Health Centre
Emmanuelle Simony has been a caregiver for the past 25 years and a multiple sclerosis patient for the past five years. This experience has led her to be actively involved in promoting engagement in health care. As such, she currently co-leads a project on patient partnership at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC), sponsored by the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement. In addition to co-leading this project, Ms. Simony has been involved in the recruitment and coaching of patient advisors within the MUHC. She also co-leads the neurosciences mission user committee. Finally, she has been collaborating with the Direction collaboration et partenariat patient (DCPP) at the Université de Montréal.
