Dr.  MacNamara is responsible for all aspects of the laboratory including Human Resources, negotiating contracts, budget control, strategic planning, implementing new tests, optimising equipment and computer software to improve all aspects of quality and efficiency.  She has extensive experience in implementing change in laboratory, hospital and academic environments at a local and international level. In addition to her expertise in laboratory medicine, she works as an Attending Physician on an acute medical ward. She holds Board certifications in Medical Biochemistry, Internal Medicine and Chemical Pathology.
