Dr. Eidelman was previously Head of the Division of Respiratory Medicine at McGill University and Chief of the Department of Medicine at the MUHC. A i leading clinician-scientist based at the Meakins-Christie Laboratories, his work focused on the development of models of asthma in animals and the application of tissue culture techniques to the study of the mechanisms of respiratory disease. He was President of the Canadian Association of Professors of Medicine, and is an active leader in clinical medicine and research in Canada and internationally.
