Dr. Brian Ward is Professor of Medicine & Microbiology, McGill University. He is Director of the MUHC Vaccine Study Centre, Associate Director of the JD MacLean Tropical Diseases Centre and Medical Director of the National Reference Centre for Parasitology. He has served or continues to serve on a number of national and international advisory committees in the areas of vaccines and international health. He has collaborated with scientists in low- and middle-income countries on a wide range of fundamental and translational studies. In particular, he has helped to strengthen research capacity in Peru (25 years) and Zimbabwe (16 years).
