Between 1997 and 2013, Dr. Joshi was Director General and CEO of St. Mary’s Hospital Centre in Montreal, a McGill University affiliated institution. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association québécoise d’établissements de santé et de services sociaux, representing the McGill RUIS. An obstetrician and gynaecologist, Dr. Joshi practiced high risk pregnancy earlier in his career. He has a Masters in Business Administration and is a Certified Health Executive in the Canadian College of Health Leaders and the American College of Healthcare Executives. His main areas of interest in health care are education, public policy and international healthcare systems and issues.
