Since 2009, Ms. Martel has participated in various projects undertaken by the University of Montreal and the integrated university health network (RUIS) on collaborative approaches and patient partnership in care and services. She has worked with the Office of Collaboration and Patient Partnership at the University of Montreal since 2012. Convinced of the importance of implementing this innovative project to improve the quality and efficiency of the health system, she is pursuing actions to consolidate the care partnership in her organization. She participates in the implementation of continuous improvement cycles promoting the transformation of care and, as a knowledge broker, supports new teams and patients advisors to develop their skills in care partnership.
