Professor of Community Medicine at the University of Manitoba
Dr. Wade is an anesthesiologist by training and is Dean Emeritus at the University of Manitoba, Founding Chair of the Patient Safety Institute and Chair of the board of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Dr. Wade was also Deputy Minister of Health under Premier Gary Filmon in Manitoba and worked to regionalize health care in Manitoba.
