Linda M Jones, BPA, MPA, became an Oncology Family Advisor with the Family Forum Advisory Group, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), after her teenaged son was diagnosed with cancer in 2012.  She also serves as Patient & Family Advisor and Team Member of the Corporate Executive Steering Committee for “CHEO Works”, the hospital’s LEAN Process Improvement Initiative.  As well, Ms. Jones is the Patient & Family Representative and Core Team Member on the Oncology Experience Based Co-design Project (EDCD), funded in part with Canadian Foundation for Health Care Improvement (CFHI) Collaborative. In her professional life, Ms. Jones is a seasoned manager with over 25 years of experience in strategic and operational planning, continuous improvement, performance measurement and reporting, program evaluation and management consulting.  She has worked with a variety of private, not-for-profit and government sectors and brings this experience to her volunteer roles.
